By accessing or using hamrorooms.com.au, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use HamroRooms.

2. What HamroRooms Is (and Is Not)

HamroRooms is a platform that helps renters and room owners connect. We are not a landlord, property manager, or real estate agent.

We do not own, manage, inspect, or rent rooms, and we are not a party to any rental agreement between users.

3. User Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate and truthful information
• You must use HamroRooms respectfully and lawfully

Access to HamroRooms may be invite-only and can be limited or revoked at our discretion.

4. Listings and Review

• All rooms are reviewed by admin before being published
• Review does not guarantee accuracy, safety, or suitability of a room
• We may approve, reject, request changes, archive, or remove rooms

5. Messaging and Conduct

• All conversations must take place in-app
• Users must communicate respectfully
• Harassment, discrimination, scams, or coercive behaviour are not allowed
• Attempts to move conversations off the platform may result in restrictions

Admins may view conversations for moderation and safety purposes.

6. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• Inspecting rooms in person
• Verifying listing details independently
• Entering rental agreements
• Handling payments, bonds, and disputes

HamroRooms is not responsible for the outcome of any rental arrangement.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right to reject listings, remove rooms, restrict messaging, suspend accounts, or ban users to protect community trust and safety.

8. Availability

We do not guarantee continuous access to HamroRooms, the availability of rooms, or successful rentals. The platform may change or shut down at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HamroRooms is not liable for losses, disputes, or damages arising from use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of HamroRooms means acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
