HamroRooms is a trusted, admin-reviewed room rental platform for the Nepali community in Melbourne. You can browse verified rooms for rent, connect directly with owners, and find affordable shared accommodation near you.

Is HamroRooms free to use?

Yes. Browsing rooms, listing a room and messaging owners or renters on HamroRooms is free.

How do I find a room?

Use the homepage to browse available rooms, or filter by suburb to find listings near you. When you find a room you like, sign in and reveal the owner’s contact details to get in touch directly.

How do I list my room?

Sign in, then go to “List your room” and fill in the details and photos. Your listing is reviewed by our admins before it goes live to help keep the platform safe and trustworthy.

Why are listings reviewed before they appear?

Every room listing is reviewed by our admins before publication. This moderation helps prevent scams and unsafe behaviour, so renters and owners can connect with confidence.

How do I contact a room owner?

Open a listing and tap “Show contact details”. You will need to be signed in. Once revealed, you can call the owner directly or message them on WhatsApp to arrange an inspection.

How do I sign in?

HamroRooms uses passwordless sign-in. Enter your email address and we will send you a secure sign-in link — there is no password to remember.

How do you keep HamroRooms safe?

Admins review room listings before they are published, and contact details are only shown to signed-in users. Please report any suspicious listings so we can act quickly. Always inspect a room in person before paying any money.

How do I report a listing?

If you come across a listing that seems like a scam, is offensive, or breaks our rules, use the report option on the listing or contact us at support@hamrorooms.com.au.

How can I delete my account?
