About HamroRooms
HamroRooms is a room rental site built for the Nepali community in Melbourne — a simple place to find a room, or a housemate, that you can trust.
If you have ever looked for a room in Melbourne, you know how it goes: scrolling through hundreds of Facebook posts, missing the good ones because they scroll past too fast, and never quite knowing whether a post is still available or even real.
I built HamroRooms to fix that. Instead of an endless feed, owners can post a proper listing with photos, price and location, and renters can browse rooms near them and message owners directly. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, so both owners and renters can connect with confidence.
The goal is simple — make it easier for owners to find good housemates and for renters to find a room that suits them, all in one place made for our community.
